Fatum surfboards is a shaping company run by a German surfer called Gero. It's based on the road to Lourinha on the outskirts of Peniche in Portugal. He's a great guy to talk to about board design and has a good eye for shape, design and does a nice line in retro paint jobs.
So far Gero has made me a fat fish and I'm due to take a 'big-boy' shortboard out of his rack very soon, I can't wait. The fish was amazing - fast and loose,  improved my surfing immensely.
Go get one today! (But then take it home to surf it, it's so crowded round here these days!)

fishThese are the drawings that I gave to Fatum...
and this is the finished article in all its glory. Gero convinced me to take a 6'0" in the end. Very glad he did, fantastic in 3' slop!!
